Simon Brenting. When I first listen to his sound, I was sold, and couldnt stay put... I had to get up of my seat and swing myself to the groove.

After that I spokes to him, and we agreed that he should join VE, and everything went perfect - according to the plan... I was going to present him one of these days, but im not! Cause it has turned out that Simon just got a record deal at Playground. Which is HUGE!!! Im very happy for him, and I would order (if I could) everyone who sees this post to click on the picture and listen to his songs. Amazing stuff. Man of the future right here...

But dont panic.... These next weeks will be with 4 new amazing faces.

It has been going on since the 20th of March 2003, and its not getting better..... Actually the opposite!

The war in Iraq has been yet another terrible strategy from the government of The United States. People are starving and dieing – and because of what? To take down Saddam? I don’t think so… I hate oil!

Denmark has joined the war. Maybe not the biggest support counted by soldiers – but “we” support the war. (Although we are not allowing any of the poor refugees in on our borders. Which actually means, that we cant take responsibility for our reactions) Denmark has taken 9 % of all refugees from Iraq. Our neighbours Sweden has taken 80 %... Why?

How can one of the most well organized systems approve this? How can the Danish government just break the law, shit on human rights, and spit on the trust, we give them, by having a reprehensive democracy ?

JUST READ THE YEAR-RAPPORT FROM AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

The organization Amnesty claims that the world has been more divided, since the terrible terror action the 11/9. This terror fear and mistrust has turned the world around by making human rights even less important, compared to their safety. The mistrust gives the governments a better way to "control" and watch their population...

In the rapport Amnesty criticizes Denmark for discrimination and use of isolation prisons, and puts a big question mark on the newest terror rule, which actually allows the government to listen to our phone calls. Not only suspects!

Again I must ask. Do we want a Americanized (and that is a word!!) Denmark?

"Is the way to avoid a messed up boy, who just walk in and kills 12 people on a school, by handing the students guns, to protect them against these "lunatics", like him?"

As promised a new face has found his way to this page. Vuf Empire has finally discovered Jakob, aka. Vituel, whom is a very, and I mean very, talented graphical designer. He lives in the capital of Denmark, and has been doing designs for the eventmakers Foreignsound.dk and the outcome of that was quite nice, if you ask me. Doing illustrations for around 3 years now, and I bet you will also find some tunes from him in the future. Take a look today and keep updated for more... Cause more will come!

SONAR is an international and advanced music and art festival, and is officially been running for 3 years. This is the 4th time Sonar is held here in BCN and there will be around 80.000 visitors this year, paying the fee of 145 Euro an entrance. It takes place in CCCB which is close to Las Ramblas in the heart of BCN by day, and by night in the big center Gran Via.

As a strong believer of human rights, this new announcement has brought my interest.

It appears that Denmark has a problem following human rights. According to a new Amnesty campaign, 2 out of 3 rape cases get turned down, because of "weak evidence"! It is even claimed, by their Danish campaign leader, Camilla Laudrup, that a victim has around 0 % change to get in court, if one knows the person, who did it.

(info) Amnesty International was founded in 1961 and is now a worldwide pressure group. Amnesty promotes and defends human rights through media attention and direct appeal campaigns.

Gadegalleriet.dk is a Danish home page which creates "street art". The concept of GG.dk is using the city as an open and free gallery for this city art, which they make and create, by the rough materials, they already found in the streets. A make over, some might call it. A real piece of the city. Niiice!

This year has one absolute summer stormer! So I had to post about it. Ofcourse I am talking about the Belgium festival Dour. This is the 19th Dour Festival and again this year the program is amazing.

Wu Tang Clan, RJD2, Agoria, Bonobo, Dj Food, The Rapture, Bright Eyes, High Tone, Jimi Tenor, Skream, Le Peuple De l´Herbe, Vitalic, Sebastian, Autechre, The Beatnuts, Justice... To mention a few of this years heavy weights.

There are still some tickets left for this amazing festival. Go Go Go!

The first compilation from VUF/records* has been released - As you can see on the flyer in the top.

The compilation contains electronica artists from Denmark, Spain, Sweden and Germany. All with profiles here at VUF. And all very talented, if you ask me...
You can download it for FREE, and I think, you should. Go to the menu, choose compilation, fill in your name and city, and of you go.

This is a must. I order everybody to see this.

Remember WTC 9/11. Remember Fahrenheit, the movie, directed by Michael Moore, which informs you, that George Bush and the government had something to do with that specific "terror action" day? - This movie, Loose Change, is an incredible documentary going into the bones of what really happened that day.

If you, after watching Fahrenheit, felt 95% sure, that this was an act of the government of the USA, Loose Change will make you 100%. After seeing this, there is no doubt. I am chocked.
